Hello community,

I was wondering what is the best way to improve our seamlines, do you recommend using the obstacle avoidance feature by loading a DSM?

Hi George,

Yes, you can certainly improve the quality of the seamlines by selecting a DEM (preferably the DSM) in the project tree and using the option “Use Loaded DEM for Seamline Obstacle Avoidance” during the mosaic creation, this option ensures we wave around obstacles in addition to all other mosaicing algorithms to compute optimal seamlines.
