Seamline obstacle avoidance

Hello community,

I wonder if it is possible to use an external shapefile with elevations to use in tandem with the seamline obstacle avoidance function in the mosaic module, or is it only a DEM?

Good question Darren. You won't be able to use an external vector file, to accomplish this, however, you can always embed the elevations of your shapefile into any DTM to produce a "DEM" that could be loaded in C3D and used during your mosaic processing.

Also, thank you David, I am using a DSM now and it did help quite a bit.
