When should I check "unregistered bands"?

When importing my images there is a checkbox to enable this option, should I check it?

Thank you for reaching out. you will select the unregistered bands option when using a multispectral or similar types of sensors. These sensors usually feature different images (and lenses) that are not registered or aligned mechanically. The software will register the different bands automatically during tie point extraction.
