Hello SimActive Community,

I wonder if someone has a good workflow to achieve isolating the vegetation of DSM, I have to clarify in this instance we only have vegetation, so I presume it should be doable?

Hi Elena,

Sure, here are a couple of approaches that could work for your case:

1. Output DSM Features: If vegetation is the most predominant feature above ground in the DSM, I recommend using the "output DSM features" option when generating the DTM in the extraction step. This should help isolate the vegetation and produce a new raster file containing only the extracted elements.
2. Change Detection DEM: Another approach is to generate a change detection DEM (Processes > Change Detection) by using a DTM as the reference input (ground) and a DSM that emphasizes vegetation.
o You can also adjust the detection threshold, which allows you to focus on vegetation within a specific range.
