Hi guys,

does anyone have any recommendations on obtaining less noise on DEMS? I am processing at maximal settings....

Hi Darren,

Sure, I would begin by processing a DEM at a higher resolution, it is possible the input data quality might not be sufficient to support the generation of higher resolution DSMs. Attempt using the optimal resolution suggested by Correlator3D to see if it improves results.

Thank you for the tip David, the optimal setting worked much better. We also have an LAS file covering the area, I assume this would also produce a nicer True ortho, correct?

Hi Darren,

Glad that resolution gave you better results. Yes, feel free to import your LAS file (File>Import>Lidar LAS Files), simply make sure the projection of your LAS file(s) matches the projection selected in C3D upon project creation.
