Hello guys,

Currently processing an RTK project, I added my checkpoints, tagged them, and ran the bundle adjustment, however, I see there is a consistent 117 feet offset on Z on all checkpoints, I am guessing this is due to the Geoid, any help would be great!

Thx.

Hello Saad,

Very good question, there are 2 main options to address this topic:

1. A GEOID offset can be applied in the Exterior Orientation Parameters menu during the Project Creation Wizard, simply add the GEOID offset value in the Altitude Offset field.

2. Correlator3D can export a DEM on which a geoid will be applied. The geoid file must be provided in the GTX file format. File>Export>DEM> With Geoid.
